Matrix regularity analysis

The paper investigates the problem of analyzing regularity multidimensional matrices based on repetition significant (non-empty) characters in matrix cells. Such a means that when is shifted along one or more its coordinates, some are preserved. For each shift repeated r times, number entered as product rs, where s symbols persist for all repetitions shift. Two numerical characteristics introduced: sum and coefficient. defined numbers possible shifts allows you to compare same form, i.e. dimension size with arrangement non-empty characters. coefficient arbitrary percentage «most regular» (all which same) form. Algorithms calculating proposed implemented computer programs. As an applied area, article uses analysis regular structure poems ancient Chinese «Canon Poems» (Shih-ching). poem represented by four-dimensional matrix, coordinates stanza, line verse line, hieroglyph verse; blank equalize sizes verses, lines stanzas. presents generalizing results experiments 305 Shih-ching.
